Itinerary
Day 1: Sydney (2 Nights)
As your much-awaited journey with Veena World begins, here’s how your first day will unfold based on your departure city:
Guests Departing from Mumbai (Scheduled Group Departure)
Guests who have opted for the Mumbai to Mumbai tour will meet at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Mumbai, four hours before the scheduled flight departure time.
From here, you fly together with Veena World tour manager to Sydney and begin your beautiful journey. Upon arrival, the Veena World Tour Manager will assist you with all airport formalities and ensure a smooth transition to the hotel or sightseeing place as per the itinerary.
Guests Joining from Other Indian Cities
If you are flying from cities like New Delhi, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Bengaluru or others, please ensure that you have received your complete travel details like airline, flight departure and arrival time, airport name, passport with valid visa etc. from your Veena World Travel Advisor. You will fly to the first destination of the tour as per your individual flight details. Upon arrival your tour manager will meet you at Sydney Airport or at the sightseeing place conveyed to you in advance.
Joining & Leaving (J&L) Guests – From India or Anywhere in the World
If you are joining the tour from any part of India or overseas by making your own arrangements, please ensure that you have received complete guidance for smooth arrival, hotel check-in or joining at sightseeing place, from your Veena World Tour Manager as well as travel adviser. Tour Manager will meet you directly at the first destination as per the tour plan conveyed to you.
Important Notes:
For Joining & Leaving guests the flight tickets, visa, insurance and airport transfers are to be borne by guests. Please ensure all these arrangements are as per the scheduled group tour. To avail of the group airport transfers, we request you to ensure your flight arrival is at the scheduled group airport and is minimum one hour before the group’s scheduled flight arrival time. For last day your flight departure time should be after the scheduled group flight departure time to avail the airport transfers.
Note:
• Standard hotel check-in time is 3:00 PM (15:00 hrs) or later. If our flights are reaching in the morning, we cover one of the sightseeing’s to fill up the gap.
• We recommend you to take care of your travel documents, valuables, foreign exchange, and emergency contacts handy during your journey.
Today we visit Sydney Tower Observatory deck which gives an unobstructed 360 degree views over the landmarks including Sydney Harbour Bridge and Circular Quay.
In the evening, all Veena World Tour guests will have a short Meet & Greet session.
Day 2: Sydney – Brisbane – Gold Coast (2 Night)
The day begins with a soak in Sydney’s pleasant weather. We head to Sydney’s most exciting location, Darling Harbour, which is a splendid waterside location at the heart of Sydney, reserved only for pedestrians. Here we visit the Sydney Sea Life Aquarium, wherein you can get up close with sharks, rays, turtles, jellyfish, and much other exotic underwater life. Followed by visit to the Sydney Opera House, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the world’s most iconic landmarks with a unique shape. Get to know this iconic building in a better way as you take a guided tour inside, walk through its every aspect and marvel at the vaulted ceilings.
We then drive through and take a photo stop near the Sydney Harbour Bridge – one of the largest steel arch bridges. Later we embark on the Sydney Harbour Cruise. Let’s make our way across the harbour on board this spectacular cruise and marvel at the amazing vistas of Sydney’s skyline and Harbour Bridge.
Then we stroll around Bondi Beach – Sydney’s iconic beach.

Day 4: Gold Coast
Today we explore Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary – a heritage listed sanctuary and a home to the world’s largest collection of Australian native animals and birds, especially for huge flocks of wild Rainbow Lorikeet birds, Koalas and Kangaroos.
Now, it’s time to visit Sea World Gold Coast. Meet dolphins, seals, and penguins up close in exciting animal encounters. Enjoy breathtaking marine life shows, Dive into the excitement with thrilling rides like Storm Coaster and Jet Rescue.
Later we have free time at Surfer’s Paradise.
We then drive through and take a photo stop near the Sydney Harbour Bridge – one of the largest steel arch bridges. Later we embark on the Sydney Harbour Cruise. Let’s make our way across the harbour on board this spectacular cruise and marvel at the amazing vistas of Sydney’s skyline and Harbour Bridge.

Day 5: Gold Coast – Cairns (2 Nights)
Today we fly to Cairns – a paradise city in Queensland where the Rainforest meets the Reefs. Upon arrival we proceed to Kuranda Rainforest – world’s oldest living tropical Rainforest. Here we enjoy 7.5 km long scenic ride in Sky Rail Rainforest Cableway running above the Barron Gorge National Park full of lush green, rugged rainforest-clad mountains, gorges and tumbling waterfalls. We then enjoy Pamagirri Aboriginal Experience to discover authentic Indigenous Australian culture one of the oldest surviving cultures in the world.
Later we enjoy, Army duck tour – 45 minute amphibious WW11 Army Duck Rainforest tour at Rain Forestation Nature Park to see flora and fauna in their natural habitat.
Day 6: Cairns – Great Barrier Reef – Cairns
Today we have full day excursion to The Great Barrier Reef – one of the planet’s most extraordinary natural wonders with 2300 km long coral reef system in Coral Sea, comprising of thousands of reefs and hundreds of islands made of soft and hard corals, is the only living organism that can be spotted from space. We take a catamaran to one of the islands of Great Barrier Reef and experience the world of colorful corals, fish and marine life through a Glass bottom boat or a Semi-Submersible. You also get a chance to enjoy adventure water sport activities like Snorkeling on your own.
Day 7: Cairns– Melbourne (3 Nights)
Today we fly to Melbourne is one of the most liveable cities in the world. The city’s architecture evokes the Victorian Era and has a European feel to it, which is sure to both rejuvenate and amaze you at the same time.
Upon arrival we ride the historic City Circle Tram and get around Central Melbourne, seeing Docklands, the City Museum, the Princess Theatre, etc. We end our City Circle Tram ride at Federation Square, a bustling city square with an iconic structure. We then pass by The Atrium. Later we take a photo stop at Hosier Lane – a most iconic cobbled laneway known for street art and graffiti.
Day 8: Melbourne – Great Ocean Road - Melbourne
Today is the day we will cherish forever. We drive along one of the world’s most beautiful, stunning, and naturally maintained destinations – The Great Ocean Road. We get a unique opportunity to see the 12 Apostles, Shipwreck Coast, and Port Campbell National Park with a breath-taking helicopter ride, making us enjoy the rugged landscapes and endless sea views. Seeing these incredible limestone stacks from the ground level is a sight to behold, and you even get a unique perspective as you see them from the sky above.
Day 9: Melbourne – Philip Island – Melbourne
Whether you are a cricket fan or not, when in Melbourne you can’t resist visiting the historic and iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground. This 160-year-old stadium has been witness to so many records and celebrations. A behind-the-scenes tour of the MCG reveals more than 150 years of Australia’s sporting history. Explore the stadium’s inner sanctum and walk on the divine turf.
Later we explore Melbourne city, we see St. Patrick Cathedral, Town Hall, and Parliament House, followed by a visit to the Fitzroy Garden, which is a Victorian-style garden dotted with ornamental lakes, pavilions, fountains, sculptures, and a huge number of trees. Stroll through the shaded promenades. The garden’s most appealing attraction is the actual 18th-century cottage where Australia’s discoverer, Captain James Cook, spent his childhood — Captain Cook’s Cottage.
In the evening, we proceed to Philip Island, home to the Fairy Penguins, the smallest of the penguin species, along with captivating coastlines and unique wildlife. See the little penguins in their natural habitat. Upon arrival, we witness the world famous Penguin Parade, where a large number of Fairy Penguins march up to their burrows. Experience the exciting and thrilling moments as you spot the first little penguins emerging from the sea and waddling along the Philip Island beach at dusk.
Day 10: Melbourne – Queenstown (3 Nights)
Today we fly to Queenstown – a city that sits on the shores of the South Island’s Lake Wakatipu, set against the dramatic Southern Alps, renowned for adventure sports is the birthplace of bungee jumping.Later we explore Melbourne city, we see St. Patrick Cathedral, Town Hall, and Parliament House, followed by a visit to the Fitzroy Garden, which is a Victorian-style garden dotted with ornamental lakes, pavilions, fountains, sculptures, and a huge number of trees. Stroll through the shaded promenades. Day 11: Queenstown – Milford Sound – Queenstown
Today we visit Milford sound – a UNESCO World Heritage site, is a stunning natural attraction in Fiordland National Park with its magical combination of mountain peaks, ink-dark waters and superb dramatic forest-clad cliffs. En route we see Te Anau Lake – largest glacial lake in southern New Zealand, Mirror Lakes – set of lakes with lovely reflections of the Earl Mountains lying just north to the Te Anau Lake, Knobs Flat, Cascade Creek, Lake Furgus, Holyford Valley Lookout, Monkey creek and Hummer Tunnel.
Upon arrival we embark on scenic Milford sound cruise and sail through mesmerizing landscapes of Fjord Land National Park to view vistas of Mitre Peak – one of the most photographed peaks in New Zealand. Later we stroll around Queenstown waterfront area.
Day 12: Queenstown
Today we visit bungee jumping point on Kawarau River and take a stroll around Arrow Town – historic gold mining town in the Otago region of the South Island of New Zealand. Later we board skyline gondola ride to visit Bob Peak which offers amazing view of Queenstown. Then we experience thrills of Jet Boat Ride in Kawarau River and take photo stop at backdrop of Lake Wakatipu.
Day 13: Queenstown – Christchurch (1 Night)
Today proceed to Christchurch – known as the Garden City because of its many beautiful parks, gardens and tree-lined streets. En route we visit Puzzling world – featuring a multi-level outdoor maze, optical illusion rooms and a cafe with table puzzles at Wanaka.
While continuing our journey to Christchurch, we pass by Lake Pukaki, we also take a photo stop at backdrop of Lake Tekapo, The Church of the good Shepard and Sheep Dog Statue.
Day 14: Christchurch – Auckland (1 Night)
Today we explore Christchurch, we visit Willow Bank Wildlife Reserve which has public displays of various animal species including Tuatara, Kiwi, Brown Teal and Duvaucel’s gecko.
Then we visit International Antarctic Centre to experience a taste of this unique continent and learn about the human impact on the wildlife as well as plant system of Antarctica. Here we get a chance to experience real snow, ice as well as an indoor Antarctic storm.
Later we fly to Auckland – a diverse, multicultural and cosmopolitan city, home to the largest Polynesian population in the world offering diverse landscapes, lush native rainforest, stunning beaches and natural wonders.
Day 15: Auckland – Waitomo – Rotorua (2 Nights)
Today we proceed to Rotorua – known for its bubbling mud pools, shooting geysers, natural hot springs and fascinating Maori culture.
En route we visit Waitomo Glowworm Caves – an ancient natural cave. Here we take a boat ride through the glowworm grotto, marvel at thousands of magical glowworms.
In the evening, we relax ourselves with Polynesian Spa – New Zealand’s original and iconic geothermal bathing experience.
Day 16: Rotorua
Today we enjoy the Maori show – Maori are the indigenous people of New Zealand Aotearoa, they perform traditional arts of Maori culture. Let’s experience Maori culture’s close connection with nature and New Zealand, you can also click pictures with the performers. Later we visit a Te Puia / Whakarewarewa Thermal Reserve – showcasing bubbling mud pools, shooting geysers and natural hot springs. We then enjoy the Sheep Shearing Show at Agrodome – here you are introduced to 19 breeds of sheep and witness a live sheep shearing demonstration, you’ll learn the remarkable story of New Zealand and discover the full process of wool making.
Day 17: Rotorua – Auckland – Departure
Today we proceed to Auckland. Upon arrival we see Harbour Bridge – an eight-lane motorway bridge over the Waitemata Harbour, Westhaven Marina – home to over 2,000 boats including privately owned yachts and launches making it one of the biggest marinas in the world, Queen Street – once a dirty canal leading out to sea, today is the heart of central business district (CBD) and a shopper’s paradise, Auckland Waterfront – a true gem in the Heart of the city. Then we visit the Auckland Sky Tower Observatory Deck – the tallest freestanding structure in the Southern Hemisphere, standing tall at 328 meters as an icon of Auckland’s sky line for 20 years, enjoy the breath-taking views of the city.
Joining & Leaving (J&L) Guests:
J&L guests will proceed to the airport after the scheduled group tour concludes.
If your flight timing and airport match the group’s, you may join the group airport transfer. Otherwise, the cost of reaching the airport, cruise terminal, railway station, or bus terminal will be borne by the guest.
